Dr. Andrew DeWitt graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1996 then after a one-year internship, he completed his four year Residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Gundersen Medical Center in LaCrosse, Wisconsin in 2001.
Dr. DeWitt joined Great River Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and achieved board certification by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He served in the Dubuque area continually for nearly 20 years.
Dr. DeWitt retired from oral surgery in 2020 and has embarked on a new journey as an author/ghost writer. He and his wife, Anna remain in the Tri State area and enjoy being involved in their adult children’s lives as well as Christian ministry both locally and abroad.
